A while back, my friends and I had the pleasure of meeting Rob at the MTV Movie Awards. I just realized I had a couple of pictures that weren’t added to the Image Gallery. One includes Pattinson Online’s very own Tasha (Robert looks quite dashing in this particular one). The other is worthy of being a toothpaste ad.
tMF has posted an update on their site about the Little Ashes Forum. It seems that Regent Releasing will be working very closely with tMF and will provide “…exclusive stills/updates/behind the scene clips and photos, along with the trailer to be released in October. Plus, promotional giveaways for us to offer to viewers.” I’d say it’s worth it to keep an eye on that forum!
The Los Angeles Times posted an article wondering if Rob would like Twilight-inspired cosmetics? Yes, they did. Here’s a bit of what they had to say:
Will Rob Pattinson like ‘Twilight’-inspired black lip gloss?
Have “Twilight” legions of fans already snatched up this stuff?
Edward Cullen would totally approve. So would Bella Swan.
What’s next? How about “Twilight”-inspired foundation to give you that deathly pale undead skin? Perhaps eye cream for those seductive dark circles? Maybe contact lenses that can turn your eyes from gold to hungry-and-hunting black?
Some would say it’s just a coincidence that so many deep forest hues are in vogue for fall fashion, including moss green, dark brown, aged rust and ominous black. No, there are darker forces at work here.
This week’s Twilight Tuesday brings us some more exciting news:
For months now, “Twilight” Tuesdays have been bringing you your weekly fix of news about Stephenie Meyer’s vampire series and Catherine Hardwicke’s movie adaptation. This week, we’re also bringing news about our own little venture, the MTV Video Music Awards, where stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be presenting an award.
At yesterday’s 90210 Premiere, a few members of the Twilight cast revealed that they are going back to the set. They will be shooting additional scenes, at least one including Rob, this week. Excerpt:
With the high-profile release of “Breaking Dawn” and the news that the movie’s release date has been pushed up from December 12 to November 21, the pressure is higher than ever for the cast and crew of “Twilight” to deliver a product worthy of its hype. That could be why they’re heading back to the set this week, months after wrapping the principal photography.
Peter Facinelli had this to say:
“I can tell you it’s a flashback scene,” Facinelli offered. “It gives us a little bit of history of the Cullen family. … They are just shooting a couple of different added scenes, and the scene I’m in, I can tell you it’s me and Robert Pattinson. … Rosalie and Emmett are in that scene.”
tMF’s Launchpad takes another look at Rob! This time they celebrate Rob taking the number one spot on IMDB’s Most Popular Under 25 STARmeter. That certainly is something to be excited about! It looks like our Robert is really starting to get the recognition he deserves.
Empire magazine has a 4 page article devoted to Twilight. Here’s an excerpt of what Rob had to say from the magazine:
“When you read the book,” says Pattinson, looking appropriately pallid and interesting even without makeup, “it’s like, ‘Edward Cullen was so beautiful I creamed myself.’ I mean every line is like that. He’s the most ridiculous person who’s so amazing at everything. I think a lot of actors tried to play that aspect. I just couldn’t to that.”
